Who is responsible for your data?

TopsGyms is the controller responsible for personal information processed through this website.

What information may we collect?

The information we process depends on how you interact with TopsGyms.

Technical information

Website forms and Formspree

TopsGyms uses Formspree to process submissions from the Contact form and Gym Opportunity Scan form.

When you submit one of these forms, the information entered into the form is transmitted to Formspree so that the submission can be processed and delivered to TopsGyms.

Formspree acts as a service provider involved in processing form submissions. Formspree states that it supports GDPR compliance and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant for international processing.

Form submissions may also be stored within the TopsGyms Formspree account according to the account configuration and Formspree's applicable retention arrangements.

Hosting and technical services

GitHub Pages

The TopsGyms website is hosted using GitHub Pages. As part of delivering the website, hosting and network infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP addresses and browser request data.

Google Fonts

This website currently loads font files through Google Fonts. When these resources are requested, the visitor's browser connects to Google infrastructure. Technical information such as an IP address may therefore be processed by Google.

TopsGyms does not use Google Fonts for advertising or behavioural profiling.

Google's privacy information is available through Google's Privacy Policy .

Who may receive your information?

TopsGyms does not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers where this is necessary to operate the website or respond to your request. At present these may include:

• Formspree, for website form processing
• GitHub Pages and related hosting infrastructure
• Google, where Google Fonts resources are requested
• Email and communication providers used by TopsGyms

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, a court order or another legally binding obligation.

International data transfers

Some service providers used by TopsGyms operate internationally or may process information outside the European Economic Area.

Where applicable, transfers should be supported by a lawful transfer mechanism such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Formspree states that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a data processor for GDPR purposes.

How long do we keep information?

TopsGyms aims not to retain personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Business enquiries and related correspondence may generally be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact where this is useful for following up a business relationship, unless:

• a shorter period is appropriate;
• you request deletion and no overriding reason requires retention;
• a longer period is required for legal, accounting or contractual purposes.

Third-party processors may apply their own technical retention periods to information they process on behalf of TopsGyms.

TopsGyms takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. TopsGyms therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

This policy may be updated when the website, TopsGyms services, legal requirements or the technology used by the website changes.
