How TopsGyms currently uses cookies

The current TopsGyms website is a static website and does not intentionally deploy its own analytics or advertising cookies.

We currently do not use:

• Meta Pixel
• Advertising cookies
• Retargeting cookies
• Behavioural profiling technology
• Marketing automation tracking

Necessary technical processing

Some technical processing is required simply to deliver a website over the internet.

The website is hosted through GitHub Pages. Hosting and network infrastructure may process ordinary technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps and browser requests as part of delivering and protecting the website.

This is different from TopsGyms using information to track visitors for advertising or profiling.

Contact forms and Formspree

TopsGyms uses Formspree to process the Contact form and Gym Opportunity Scan form.

Formspree is contacted when you actively submit information through one of these forms. Information entered into the form is transmitted to Formspree so the submission can be processed and delivered to TopsGyms.

Depending on Formspree's technical operation, security measures and future configuration, Formspree may use technical mechanisms needed to process or protect form submissions.

Google Fonts

TopsGyms currently uses Google Fonts to display the Inter and Manrope typefaces.

When these fonts are loaded, a visitor's browser requests font resources from Google infrastructure. This can result in technical information such as an IP address being transmitted to Google.

TopsGyms does not use this connection for its own analytics, advertising or behavioural profiling.

Analytics and marketing cookies

TopsGyms does not currently use analytics or marketing cookies on the website.

This means that TopsGyms is not currently using cookies to:

• build advertising profiles;
• retarget website visitors;
• measure advertising campaigns;
• track visitors across unrelated websites;
• create behavioural marketing audiences.

What happens if we add new technology?

TopsGyms may later introduce services such as website analytics, an online scheduling tool or other technology that improves the website or helps understand its performance.

Before introducing non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies, TopsGyms will review the privacy implications and introduce consent controls where required.

How can you control cookies?

Most web browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies through the browser settings.

The exact controls depend on the browser and device you use.

Blocking necessary website technology may affect how certain website functions operate.
